A central focal point of the project is the iconic lighthouse-inspired control tower, which serves as a modern landmark against the backdrop of the rugged Muttrah mountains. By integrating expansive glass facades and sweeping, curved roof lines, the terminal provides a seamless transition for international travelers, offering panoramic views of the Gulf of Oman while honoring the historic aesthetic of the surrounding Corniche. To balance this modern grandeur with its local context, the facade incorporates intricate geometric screen patterns and an earthy material palette that beautifully echoes the warm tones of nearby heritage sites.
