The project
The Qantab Resort project, situated in the breathtaking coastal corridor near the Barr Al Jissah area. Positioned as a high-end luxury destination, the project is designed to be a premier sanctuary that bridges the rugged beauty of the Al Hajar Mountains with the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Oman. The design of the Qantab Resort is a sophisticated exercise in Geological Integration, where the architecture appears to emerge organically from the rugged cliffside near Barr Al Jissah rather than sitting upon it. Utilizing a tiered, horizontal massing that mirrors the natural contours of the Al Hajar Mountains, the structure maintains a low profile to preserve the majestic horizon and expansive sea views.

Qantab Resort is envisioned as an immersive coastal retreat that celebrates both landscape and lifestyle, offering guests a carefully curated journey from arrival to shoreline. The masterplan unfolds in a series of intimate neighborhoods—private villas, duplexes, chalets, and waterfront cabins connected by meandering pathways that echo the natural topography of Qantab’s hills. Public spaces such as the marina, yacht club, and oceanfacing restaurant activate the waterfront, creating a vibrant social edge while maintaining exclusivity and privacy within the residential clusters.
